Data handling in the development version
Information about the current RollCart development version. Production terms and hosting details must be finalised before launch.
Responsibility and contact
RollCart is a product by Ainywhere, operated by Lindelöf & Co AB. Contact simon@lindelofco.se about data or corrections.
Stored information
The database stores the shop domain, language, stock location, imported product IDs and names, roll labels and measurements. Shopify sessions contain access credentials and may contain logged-in administrator profile information.
Orders and customers
Order numbers, variants, quantities and statuses are read from Shopify for the order view and are not persisted as order history. The app does not request customer names, emails, telephone numbers or addresses. Incoming privacy webhooks may include these details; they are not retained in the event record.
Export and deletion
The shop can export its workspace in Settings. Uninstalling removes sessions and pauses the workspace. Shopify's shop/redact webhook removes remaining shop data. Customer data requests appear in the app with a report of stored customer data.
Hosting and security
This version runs in a development environment. Shopify handles authentication and payment details. Access is checked per shop. Production hosting, encrypted storage, backup retention and final data-protection terms are not yet approved for customer use.
Analytics and marketing
RollCart adds no marketing tracking or advertising cookies. The length selector uses session storage to prevent accidental repeated cart requests.
